Just an update as I am doing fairly well over at this site but it is only four days. I'm just having fun doing it playing $5 games but I have my account at $101.50 already and only deposited $25. I'm currently #39 on the money won list and while I would consider myself somewhat up on fantasy sports I am by no means an expert.

I guess what I am trying to say is that if you are looking for a fun activity to keep interested in MLB and also are looking for a way to make a little cash and help out TIS, then try joining this site by clicking on the above banner. I have played guys that have established that site and so far have had good success. They do also have NBA, NHL & NFL games but since those sports are done there is no activity there for that right now.

If anyone needs help on just who to choose or wants some pointers on what my strategies are feel free to ask or PM me and I will get back to you.

I got beat down last night, it hurts when you lose 34-31 in four games, WTF! Still ahead but only a little bit now, hopefully today will go much better. It's still very fun though, you guys should try it.

Meant to post my lineup for today here this morning before contests started, but didn't get a chance. In any case, here it is:

P: Correia
C: Mauer
1b: Cabrera
2b: Kinsler
3b: Arod
SS: Hanley
LF: Holliday
CF: Span
RF: Ethier

I would have preferred Halladay, but just couldn't figure out a lineup I could afford along with him that I could live with. Correia at home against a team that strikes out a ton (Arizona) seemed like a good compromise. I usually don't go with 'all star' type lineups at the expense of pitching, but I didn't like the matchups for a lot of the cheaper hitters that I usually use. I'd better hope it works, because I entered more contests than I usually do.

Probably worth mentioning that I'm able to play in the contests because lineups are completely transparent as soon as games begin...so there wouldn't be any way for Fanduel to cheat in my favor without it being immediately obvious. That said, I avoid playing anyone who is uncomfortable playing an employee. I play on the site as 'zoobird' and always enter contests first, so you can always avoid me if you want.

to TIS and thanks for posting, I haven't been playing much at fanduel lately due to time constraints but you guys have a great site going there. I still have money in my account, just haven't had the time to put together a team lately. For those interested, it is a fun site and even if you know nothing about fantasy baseball, you can put a team together and win even against an experienced person. My Correia+studs lineup yesterday obviously worked out great when all the other popular pitching choices failed to get wins. Out of a total of 7 contests (all head to head), I won 6 and tied 1. I wish it was always that easy! There are no day games today, so I'll be figuring out my lineup and posting it here a little bit later.

Most of my bargains are Cubs. I really like their match-up today. Dempster and Soto were also definitely worthy of consideration, and depending on weather and starting lineups, I might still use one or both.

Meh. Even with Carpenter and Aramis, my scores weren't exceptional. I went 4-3 in a mix of $5 and $10 contests for a net $3 profit. Just missed having a nice day, as I lost a pair of $10 contests by 1 point each.

One weather-based lineup change already. Replaced Braun with Soriano, which allowed me to upgrade from Aram to Arod.
